Maths made Easy
Want to improve your Maths skills? Suitable for women of different levels and designed to increase your confidence and lead to qualifications. You can join at any time of year and work at your own pace, supported by the tutor to reach your goals.
English Made Easy
Want to improve your English skills? Suitable for women of different levels and designed to increase your confidence and lead to qualifications. You can join at any time of year and work at your own pace, supported by the tutor to reach your goals.
Textiles and Home Furnishings
Designed for people who want to personalise their home. Suitable for all, from beginners to skilled crafters. You can design and complete your own projects with support from the tutor and other women. Possibilities include: cushions, curtains, blinds, bedspreads & more…
Creative Crafts
Designed for women who would like to be creative and learn a range of crafting techniques including: patchwork, fabric box making, card making, bag making and seasonal gifts. Suitable for all, from beginners to experienced crafters.
New Year New You: stress buster
Feeling like a new start in the New Year? This course is designed to beat post-holiday stress through helping you identify the symptoms and causes of stress, developing relaxation strategies and learning new skills to develop your confidence levels.
Family History
Who do you think you are? Ever been inspired by watching people’s journeys into their family past? This course will help you explore your own family tree & learn more about your ancestor’s lives.
Conversational English
An informal group running once a week providing space for women to practice their conversational English. Particularly designed for non-native English speakers. Come along and practice your skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
Teaching Assistant
This course is a 33 week beginning in September each year. The course provides a recognised qualification for working in classroom support in schools.
Zumba
Fun and fitness together! Join in our supportive dance / exercise class and make new friends, build your confidence and get fit at the same time.
Tai Chi
A gentle form of exercise. Come along, meet new people in a supportive atmosphere and build up your fitness levels from the inside out!
Lunchtime Clubs (50p) include:
‘Knit and Knatter’ - Come and knit / crochet whilst making new friends and sharing ideas
Book Club - Join a friendly group of women to read and discuss books chosen by the group over coffee and biscuits
Computer Drop-in - We provide access to our computer suite for you to complete your own projects
Chat and Coffee Club - A warm and friendly welcome waits for you in our lunchtime clubs
